Two Brothers BBQ is a family business, owned and operated by native Kansans. Matt and Mark Ryan are the “Two Brothers”, and partner with their parents, Tom and Carole Ryan.

Tom Ryan has been in the restaurant end of the hospitality business for around 40 years, and the Two Brothers have over 35 years of combined experience.

The Brothers’ love of good food, especially BBQ, led to them spending a good deal of time in their favorite BBQ joint. Eventually, the younger brother, Mark, took a job as a BBQ cook there. He learned the sweet secrets of cooking “low and slow” with hickory smoke. Over time, he was not only able to cook the family’s favorite BBQ, he made it better. When the time came, the Ryans made an offer to buy the BBQ joint, and Mark became an owner-operator. Matt joined the company a few years later, and the company expanded from the original Greenwich Road location to several other outlets in Wichita and the surrounding area.

Recently, The Brothers added The Burger Grill to their West Wichita and El Dorado locations, offering a little more variety for families. The Brothers spin on a “burger joint” style burger features Premium Creekstone Farms Beef, butter toasted buns baked at a local bakery, and the freshest, best tasting toppings available.

The Ryan family attributes their success in the BBQ and Burger business to their commitment to a few simple principles. First, they start with higher quality raw ingredients than their competitors. The Brothers feel that today’s food savvy guest will not mind paying a few extra cents for a premium product. Second, the Brothers cook those premium ingredients to perfection. Finally, the Brothers try to make each guests’ day brighter by offering plentiful smiles in a warm inviting atmosphere.
